Mary 曾於瑪麗醫院任職物理治療師，後轉到私人診所執業，主要診治痛症及運動創傷人仕，亦同時於老人院舍提供物理治療服務。現於非牟利機構的早期教育及訓練中心及特殊幼兒中心任職兼職一級物理治療師，另外亦提供學前到校服務，服務對象為有特殊學習需要的學童及家長。同時為一孩之母，深切體會到作為新手媽媽的無助及傍徨。在工作及自身成長過程中理解到無論是小童、家長、成人或老人，除了身體上的需要，在成長或復康路上心靈上的支援亦不可缺少。

Mary曾於香港中文大學進修骨關節醫學及復康理學碩士，及在香港大學進修表達藝術治療碩士(優異)，獲得 ANZACATA 註冊藝術(表達藝術)治療師資格。現正進修攻讀兒童為本遊戲治療，希望能協助更多有需要兒童及家庭。她以多年服務痛症患者、失智老人、中風病人、殘疾人士、特殊需要學童及其家屬的經驗，把表達藝術應用於幼童、兒童、青少年、長者、智障人士、受壓力問題困擾的家長及照顧者等群體，為其提供個人或小組治療。

Mary used to work as a physiotherapist in Queen Mary Hospital and private clinics, mainly treating patients suffering from musculoskeletal pain and sports injury. She also worked in the old aged home as a part-time physiotherapist. She is now working as a part-time physiotherapist in a non-profit making organisation, providing training services for children with special education needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, developmental delay, etc.) and support for their parents. As a mother of a newborn baby, she deeply understands the feeling of helplessness and frustrations. With all these experiences, Mary recognised the mental well-being of individuals of all ages is as important as their physical health.

After studying the Master in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Rehabilitation in CUHK, Mary decided to pursue her desire in promoting the importance of mental health in the society and among her clients. She completed the Master of Expressive Arts Therapy at the University of Hong Kong, and became a registered Arts Therapist (Expressive Arts) of ANZACATA. She is currently studying child-centered play therapy, with the vision to offer help to families and children who are in need. With her extensive experiences in providing services to individuals suffering from physical pain, cognitive impairment, stroke, physical disabilities, children with special education needs and their parents, Mary aims at integrating her knowledge and experiences, in providing expressive arts therapy (individual / group sessions / workshops) services to children, parents, adolescents, elderlies, care-givers or parents with stress, individuals with mental illness or intellectual disabilities.
